I have been in practice since 1994, and provide psychotherapy services to individuals and couples in the State College, Pennsylvania area.  My approach is primarily psychodynamic, with attention to the systems involved in and affecting a person's life.  I tend toward longer term, depth therapy, frequently incorporating dream exploration in the therapeutic process.
I believe in the power to change and evolve, and I believe that psychotherapy can be a strong force in that process. It is an honor for me when I am able to join together with another and delve deeply into their life processes. We are each an expert on our own lives, but sometimes we may need the perspective of another person to see ourselves more clearly. Entering into psychotherapy can be both intimidating and invigorating, and in time, ideally will result in living a more authentic, honest, balanced, fulfilling and enriched life.
